Investors Business Daily: Acorn-ucopia
Didn’t Acorn, the corrupt community organizer, get its federal funding yanked after its last scandal? Actually, no. Through municipal middlemen, it’s poised to rake in another $4 billion. Where is the outrage?
You’d think a group implicated in dozens of electoral fraud cases, theft of funds and, most recently, helping criminals interested in bringing child prostitutes to the U.S. would have been ruled ineligible for federal aid long ago.
But think again, because these aid rats are experts at survival.
FrontPage magazine reports that federal Judge Nina Gershon ruled that Acorn is eligible for the Obama administration’s proposed $4 billion in Housing and Urban Development grants within the $3.83 trillion federal budget proposal for 2011.
That cancels the ban Congress placed on Acorn funding late last year after at least five of the group’s offices willingly aided undercover reporters posing as a pimp and prostitute to get federal funding for a brothel and cheat on their taxes.
Do we even have to ask why?

4 billion dollars, merely the cost of what could be spent to build another CVN, or better yet, pay down/slow down the debt.
Off topic: Jeff, you’re being quoted on therightsideoflife.com.
Wonderful.
Elspeth — Thank you!
Jeff — Still makes you wonder what information is on the long form that is so bad that he would spend millions of dollars to keep it concealed! That goes for his other sealed background information as well.
The ONLY thing we know about this guy is what he has said about himself.
Why are we funding an organization that is not a department of the federal government?
When does my group, A-THORN, get it’s funding?
Oh yeh, I am white.
Gail, why not?, it’s all funny money.
My three month old grandson can’t speak up yet.
4 billion dollars, spent much better

9:35 thru 12:52, If we are to be called birthers, should not Obama be called an obfuscator in the same breath???? Should not EVERY presidents every constitutional qualification, of which there are so very few, be available to the public, seeing as it is the most important job in the world?
I do think it strange that Obama would spend over 1.5 million (and growing) to keep his records a secret. Why not buy a beach house in Hawaii,a Rolls Royce or help homeless children with the money? What are his intentions? Is he trying to hide something, or is he just enjoying creating tensions and discord among Americans? I can think of no postive reason for the secrecy. Common sense should make people question his motives. We require proof of citizenship from a janitor, why not a president? Duhhhh… The finger needs to be pointed at the person maintaining the secrecy, not the people questioning, “Why the secrecy?”
JUST ONE WORD HURRAY!!
LETS CUT WASTEFULL MILITARY SPENDING BY 25%-37.5%
ACORN WAS COMPLETLEY AND TOTALY EXONERATED IN THE CASE OF VOTER FRAUD,
