Jeff, two words… Trial Lawyers. Two more words… malpractice insurance. I can’t believe the first are going to be happy if the second becomes obsolete, or worse, they think the feds are going to pay those huge settlements from taxpayer pockets. There could be some serious Cloward-Piven death to America spiral going on that hasn’t even been discussed, especially if all the GOOD (and already rich) doctors start bailing out of their practices.

Someone needs to raise the alarm! Can you do it?

But I guess if Pelosi has her way, they won’t need his vote after all.

I dont know Jeff, I just dont know. I dont see conservatives voting out conservatives because they choose to use this procedure, especially if its on a bill that is popular, after all has either party been voted out by their own supporters for using this tatic previously. Unfortuantly it only seems to come to light when the other side does it. After all did you know how many times that Repubs and Conservatives had used this previously?

What is the most irritating is that the republicans can not even articulate to the American people why/when it was used in the past, you did it so well and to the point. I am tired of “they did it so we can too”. That was the first explanation I’ve heard about the particulars regarding Nader’s suit. Everyone stop and listen to the cricket sounds coming from Ralphie’s consumer group now.
I loved the comment about Dominatrix Pelosi’s barbed-wire panties, it’s no wonder she always has that look of pain on her face.
We all know that the millisecond O’Bow-Mama and Pelosi think they are within 2 or 3 votes they will call for the vote. My only question is how many bites at the apple do they get. Will this be it or can they continue calling for another vote until the end of this congressional session.
Pretty sad when the democrat turned independent treasurer from mASSachusetts(who happens to be running for governor so take his change of heart with a grain of salt)spoke out yesterday and said if O’Bow-Mama care is enacted, the country will be bankrupt within a few years like it is doing to mASSachusetts.

Our local talk show mentioned the other day the Jason Altmire was waiting to hear from his constituents who “support” the bill. There were 2 protests yesterday in front of one of his local offices. Those supporting the bill were mostly union workers. Apparently, a woman who was against the bill drove down the street that the supporters were on in her truck with a sign protesting the bill and she kept blasting her horn. The supporters surrounded her truck and asked her to leave. Later those opposed had their rally. We’ll see how he votes.

I agree wholeheartedly. The only distiguishing thing here is the size and scope of the legislation. This NEEDS a full vote. But you’re right (and I’m right) in that it needs to stop for good.
