Yea, you're right, Jeff. It's just that my back gets up when lunatics try to take advantage of decent people, and, well..it's kinda fun slapping them around a bit, knowing full well that they really can't hit back. He probably wouldn't emerge from his parents' basement long enough to even attempt to debate on the merits.

John,

Let it go. I asked Mr. Meat to excise the word "liar" from his text. I have no problem if somebody thinks I'm "wrong." Nor do I have a problem if someone considers me "boneheaded." But "liar" carries with it some connotations that could pose a problem for me professionally as an attorney.

He did that. Albeit, he did it obviously, but he did it.

Now, may I suggest that we leave the guy alone. His site gets about a tenth of the traffic that AR does; why send him more?

Our local talk show host had a montage of sound bites from the Democrats in 2005, including BO, who argued over how terrible it would be for the country if reconciliation was used. I think that needs to be played at today's meeting. What a sham this administration is.

Just a little update-
Meatbrain - a liberal who apparently would be a strong, strong advocate of free speech - is censoring comments on his blog that refute his points, which is merely par for the course. Jeff offered to have a 'civil discussion' with him, but as in the case of nearly every so-called 'liberal' that I know, an actual discussion is impossible, because they simply will not allow it to happen. They usually regard the 'fingers-in-the-ears' approach as the most tried-and-true method to diplomacy. So be it.

Apparently, Meatbrain is either unwilling or incapable of having a discusiion on the merits alone. That's fine. I actually enjoy it this way, because it more reminds me of playing with the punchable clowns from when we were kids.....they do, indeed, keep bouncing back up, but only to take more solid shots. But that comment, no doubt, makes me a violent conservative. Propagandize away, Meatbrain, if it makes you feel good. I'm here for you. Copy & paste to your heart's content.

In any event, if Jeff doesn't mind, given all that he's got going on in his life, I'd like to take the reigns on this one. I'd like to continue posting my responses to some of what passes for 'points' that spill from his loosely- connected mental wiring. It'll be good sport for all of us.

"Wing nut": A vital, high-integrity, fastener which is designed to keep the wings attached to the fuselage so that the plane doesn't crash.

"Wing Nut Blogger": Someone who tries to point out to the passengers how disastrous it would be to attach the wings with "Meat Screws".
