Astounding: The #OWS Rap Sheet

Breitbart’s Big Government: #OccupyWallStreet: The Rap Sheet, So Far

The MSM could easily tell the story of how this violence-prone movement is becoming an increasing threat to our society. After all, my research below is the result of nothing more than Twitter and Google. Among others, The New York Times, Washington Post, Politico, and the LA Times have willfully chosen not to use the resources at their disposal to give the public an honest look at this growing menace. In their partisan minds, truth doesn’t trump agenda.

Because this story is evolving, and the “rap sheet” is expanding at breakneck speed, you’re going to need to go to the link above to get the full list.  Currently, the list stands at 204 linked offenses.

The Tea Party had hundreds of gatherings with a total of many hundreds of thousands of people in attendance over the course of many months. Their “rap sheet” total numbers zero.

The OWS movement has scores of gatherings with a total of maybe a few thousand attendees over the course of a few weeks and they produce 204 “incidents” and climbing. When you throw in the filth, the illness, the disrespect for public and private property and the lack of any coherent purpose it’s no wonder the media is so critical of the OWS crowd. Oh, wait. That is what should be happening but isn’t because someone obviously has compatible beliefs and agendas.

The fact that they try to hide behind the protection of a Constitution that they have no respect for makes the matter all the more ridiculous. The first amendment guarantees “the right of the people peaceably to assemble”. The term “peaceably” means to act with proper behavior and respect towards others , their rights and their property. To “assemble” means to gather for a definite time, not to “occupy” indefinitely. The “Occupiers” are breaking the spirit and the letter of this right to assemble.

If they would assemble and disperse peaceably each day (or at least regularly) and show respect for laws and property, they might have more credibility. Some inside and outside of the OWS crowd have encouraged more “energetic” activities than we have seen so far.The way it’s going one must ask, When does an assembly become a mob and when does mob activity cross the line into insurrection?

This is all staged, now the Government can outlaw all gatherings.
