Astroturf By School Bus

Publius Forum: Blogger’s Row at Right Nation 2010

Remember this, from April 2009?

Well, the incredibly smart and extremely well-traveled Warner Todd Huston (who I met last weekend but sadly did not spend much time with), in writing a lovely little description of Blogger’s Row at the Right Nation conference this weekend, included this little tid-bit:

Naturally there were already protesters mad that we conservatives are here in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. Just as naturally they were bussed in en masse. Disgustingly they were bussed in on buses that seem to normally belong to the Chicago Public Schools as we could see the Chicago PS tags in the back windows.

Click on the link above to see a photo of the Chicago Public Schools tag on the buses.

It never ceases to amaze me how quick the left–and their botox-frozen spokesmouths–are to dismiss an actual grassroots movement while, at the same time, manufacturing their own dissent.

    BZINGA…. good find.

  2. Boston Blackie says:

You know anytime you see “hope” on the signs, they are astroturf protestors. Most look like they are questioning when do we get paid. The signs should read “I showed up so show me the money”.

  3. Al Gore says:

They should para-drop em in. Much more eco friendly than school buses.

  4. Clueless Fairycon says:

    A Million Man bus ride.
