Feigning Repudiation

The Wall Street Journal: The Obama Heyday is Over

With so many Democrats running against the president’s agenda in the midterm, change will come in the next Congress, regardless of which party is in control.

Look, I understand where Kim Strassel is coming from. It’s more than amusing to watch these folks run away, as fast as they can, from the agenda that they worked so hard to implement. It’s great watching them repudiate Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and Barack Obama.

But please, folks — context.

We are less than sixty days out of one of the most important mid-term election in decades. Just as John McCain had to transmogrify into a right-wing hawk, the left is doing the best they can to be sure that the American public, already soured on Democrats, forget what’s been going on for the past 19 months.

Mark my words — just as I correctly said back at the beginning of the year that “healthcare” would become a bad word by November, I promise you that should the Democrats somehow survive November 2 and maintain control, what we will see from them will be an incredibly dangerous, two-year-long lame duck session.

dangerous for THEM, if they try something stupid. We’re fed up with it.

To all you roaches now in the high beams, you best keep scurrying on home in Nov.
    You’re done. Clean House 2010

I still can’t believe there are people out there that know more about Snooki and the Housewives of …… than the importance of the upcoming election.

“Barack Obama hit the campaign trail this week to resurrect some of that hopey-changey stuff and to complain that his critics talk about him “like a dog.”

    To parphrase Elvis;

You ain’t nothing but a hound dog
    Baracking all the time
You ain’t nothing but a hound dog
    Baracking all the time
You’ll never give a tax cut
So you ain’t no friend of mine

When ya get voted out, don’t let the door hit ya on the way out.

  6. eg. Charlie Rangel says:

As Rush was discussing yesterday, any hopes for a fair or flat tax, will pretty much require a totally new Congress, due to the lust of power involved with the tax code. This may be our best shot, people, at getting these clowns out.

    CLEAN HOUSE 2010
    Any innocent victims… that sucks.

It must stink to have to ‘feign’ repudiation, of this president. You’ll feel a lot better about yourself if you get that repudiation out.

  8. Gail B. says:

    Exodus 32:7
And the Lord said unto Moses, ‘Go, get thee down; for thy people, which thou broughtest out of the land of Egypt, have corrupted themselves.’

(Sounds like a mess of Progressives hanging around D.C.)
