Rasmussen Reports: Election 2010: Nevada Senate
Tea Party candidate Sharron Angle just won the GOP primary and earned herself the right to take on Harry Reid in the general election. So… how’s one of those fringe lunatic radicals stacking up against the Senate Majority leader?
Sharron Angle, following her come-from-behind Republican Primary win Tuesday, has bounced to an 11-point lead over Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid in Nevada’s closely-watched U.S. Senate race.
A new Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Voters in Nevada, taken Wednesday night, shows Angle earning 50% support while Reid picks up 39% of the vote. Five percent (5%) like some other candidate, and six percent (6%) are undecided.
That’s an increase of her previous 8-point lead, by the way. Not only does she have a double-digit lead, but it’s widening. Here’s to hoping she holds it through to November, but the fact that we’re even in this predicament shows how badly the Democrats have mishandled their political mandate.
