Anger any liberal enough, and you’re liable to be subjected to a barrage of words and phrases rooted in the deep hatred for the former administration: BUSH LIED! THIS ILLEGAL WAR! HALLIBURTON!
The last one always makes me laugh. “Oh yeah,” I’ll inevitably hear from the guy or gal I was having a civil debate with up until a minute before, when whatever I said just shorted out something in their brain, “well, bush lied and got us into an illegal war all to benefit Halliburton and Dick Cheney and the oil companies.”

The contract, awarded on Jan. 4 to Checchi & Company Consulting, Inc., a Washington-based firm owned by economist and Democratic donor Vincent V. Checchi, will pay the firm $24,673,427 to provide “rule of law stabilization services” in war-torn Afghanistan.
