Justice Janet Napolitano?!?

NewsBusters: ‘Chuck Todd on Ingraham Show: Napolitano Would Step Down — When Obama Nominates Her to Supreme Court’

It was a discussion between NBC’s Chuck Todd and radio host Laura Ingraham about which cabinet members would likely leave next.  Napolitano was on the list, but not for the reasons you and I might think.  Here’s the transcript:

TODD: The other one I would bet on is Janet Napolitano –

INGRAHAM (with sarcasm): She’s been effective.

TODD: And not a negative. On a – at the next Supreme Court opening, I betcha she gets the call.

INGRAHAM: (Pause, then a low voice) Oh wait a sec. I just lost my breath. What did you say?

TODD: Sorry. I know. Sorry. I’m just sayin’ –

INGRAHAM: Janet Napolitano?

TODD: You asked me to bet. You asked me to bet. I would say this. She’ll get the next opening.

INGRAHAM (amazed): Why?

TODD: Personally, he likes her probably more than any other cabinet secretary outside of [Robert] Gates on a personal comfort zone. She almost got it the last time. I think, you know, he’s determined to put somebody who’s actually run for elective office on the Supreme Court. You know, we’re in the first Supreme Court, I think in a hundred years, that hasn’t had somebody with elective office experience at any point in time. He’s talked about wanting that as a criteria….He’s a big fan of hers.

Now, this happened on December 14, not in the days since Commandante Napolitano embarrassed herself over the past weekend.  Still, it’s not like her incompetence is a new thing.  Sheesh.  Good grief — Janet Napolitano on the bench of the United States Supreme Court would make Sonia Sotomayor look like Learned Hand.

The way this crew thinks gets scarier by the minute.
FYI – Napolitano served as an attorney for Anita Hill during the Clarence Thomas hearings. It’s a small world after all.

Is this the same Aunt Janet Incompetano I’m thinking of?

Now that is scary. When I saw this headline, I nearly choked. It was bad enough that Sotomajor was installed. But Napolitano? Though the Executive Branch can do alot, as well as the Legislative Branch, the Judicial Branch, in my opinion, should be feared more. Those people are not elected. And they last and last. The Energizer Bunny doesn’t hold a candle!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jeff, you posted this. You are just kidding with us, right? Hehe. You are sooooooooo bad.
