So, what do you have to be thankful for?

(Besides large, tasty fowl.)

    God's many blessings! The freedom of our country, health, family and friends. We still have our freedom of speech and hoefully by God's grace, we can keep it.
    Thankful for true patriots like yourself Jeff who are willing to speak out and take a stand for the future of our Republic!
    Thank you!

    I am thankful that we live in a country with 1st amendments rights. We can opine about our government, or really anything else we want to, not too many places on earth that can say that.

    Have a happy T-day everyone, and we'll continue this stuff tomorrow, as for today, lets remember what this country was based on, and where it needs to head once again. As for me, I love this country, and I want her back, and I'm thankful that I live in this country, even with all its problems right now.

    "So, what do you have to be thankful for?"

    I am thankful for

    My sobriety;

    America's Right and its great writers;

    Our health care system and the technology we have available to us so that when Joanna (and others) need medical attention, she can get the very best care;

    My friends;

    My dog, Buckshot;

    And finally but not least, God, His mercy, and all His blessings.

    I'm thanful for more than I could ever list in this comment, but I'm certainly thankful for AR and the opportunity to share ideas and ideals with (usually) like-minded patriots. I believe that AR is making an important contribution to the recovery of the land that the Pilgims and our Founders envisioned.

    Thanks, Jeff, and a happy Thanksgiving to all of the contributors and commentors on AR.

    OUR Great Country and the patriots within.

    And Yes this site, Jeff you are an inspriation to all of us….THANK YOU.

    Now go eat more than you should and watch some football or something, most of all….forget about everything for a few days and enjoy your family and your Holiday.

  10. Claudia says:

    May all of you have enough, enough love, enough friends, enough family, enough safety, enough warmth, enough food, and enough peace of mind in the knowledge that there are many who will work towards the same cause for next thanksgiving……. have a happy day and know that things will work towards the same things for next thanksgiving……. have a happy day and know that things will be right in the end. I wish each of you well….

  11. Jan says:

    To list everything I am thankful for would take too much space and probably bore you all to tears. With that said…..the biggest thing I am thankful for is my Lord and Savior Jesus and His gift of salvation; for which all other blessings are possible!

    Happy Thanksgiving all.

    I am thankful for: God; America, my adopted country; the opportunity to speak freely even though people would scream I am politically incorrect and/or racist; my computer and by extension AR; a full year of good health care and surviving surgeries, chemo, radiation and receiving a new head of hair:). I am thankful that time does not stand still, and hopefully, we will survive this madness coming from the White House.

    I am thankful that God's word is TRUE, for a wonderful family, for hard-working, honest parents who provided a secure home and were great role models for five children. I am especially thankful for 4 precious grandchildren, one recently born 2 months premature and who is reminding us not to ever take life for granted…some have to fight for it. I am thankful for the many, many heroic men and women who have served in our military and secured our freedom. I am thankful for the good and patriotic citizens in this country who refuse to allow our heritage to be trampled on by anyone. And I am thankful for dedicated Americans like you, Jeff, and all who contribute to this site who are seeking the TRUTH. Happy Thanksgiving!!

    Hi Jeff -

    I'm a day late, but I still have a grateful heart! I'm most grateful to God, for all He has provided, for "all good & perfect gifts come down from the Father of Lights." I'm so very grateful for my family & dear friends. I'm grateful for the Patriots & kindred spirits here at AR, & the opportunity we have to share our thoughts & concerns.

    God bless you all, & may He bless our country as we fight to keep her.

    Thankful that some democrats who voted for obama are finally drawing a necessary line.

    Thankful that their eyes are opening and instead of pretending or lying about what they see and hear that at least some of them are concerned enough to speak out about it. Thats a start in the right direction.

    Thankful for the fall in obama's approval ratings.

    Perhaps God put him on stage to teach millions a lesson: treat your vote with respect, and always choose the better qualified person regardless of party affiliation. Go with proven patriotism, ability, proven record, accomplisments in the district they served and the guts not to blink when the time comes to not blink.

    I am thankful for people who still stand on good principles, who refuse to give in to be in the "popular" column.

    i am thankful that through grace, God saw fit to bring me back to this place with Him. i feel awful for people who leave this earth without God and encourage everyone to revisit, or begin seeking Him. just give it a try. what have you got to lose?

    "I know both how to be abased, and i know how to abound: every where and in all things i am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need."
    …. Philippians 3:12

    i am convinced that in God a person is capable of handling ANYTHING. we have the same experiences others have but our equipping allows to find the calm in any storm.

    Thankful for at least a little bit of truth from NBC, via comedy

    This is what I am thankful for:
    From my blog-

    So what are you thankful for today?

    First, we should be thankful for the Lord Jesus Christ and for what He has done for us on the cross and His victory over death that we might have eternal life. If we lived a pauper’s life for the remainder of our lives we would be blessed beyond measure. To think that the God of all creation created the universe for mankind would be more then enough but then to think that He would send his only Son to die that we, sinful, rebellious individuals might be redeemed is more then we could ever deserve. As has been said before if we got what we really deserved, Hell would be our home right now. Praise God for His mercy and grace to us.

    Second, I’m thankful for my wife. She truly is a godly woman and my best friend. We have been married for 18 years and each day gets sweeter and I become more thankful for her love, encouragement, faithfulness and yes, even on those occasions I need her subtle corrections. I have seen her down but not out, I have seen her up but not over bearing. She truly is an example for other women. If I had nothing but Jesus and her, my life on earth would be complete.

    Third, my children bring such blessing. While far from perfect, they are growing into godly young people with a heart to serve others. I am blessed that their hearts are open to God’s word and are developing their own biblically based convictions and standards for their lives. In a world where families are pulled apart and going every-which-way, we are each other’s best friends.

    While there are many other things I am thankful for and we could go on for some time, I will end with this one final thing. I am thankful for a godly heritage. Both my parents and Sherry’s parents are godly examples of faithfulness to the Lord. I have seen each sets of parents go through dark and what seemed like lonely times in their lives and they have been faithful throughout it all. I have seen God’s strength work in and through them. They have been our counselors and friends. I know of many friends that have struggles conflicts with their in-laws but for Sherry and me we are blessed to call our parents our best friends.

    Well, I have listed the greatest blessings to me. Now I get to go and enjoy the rest of the day, fellowshipping with my family and best friends and wrap the day up with a family tradition we started about 13 years ago – watching our kids decorating their gingerbread houses.

    Enjoy the day and while there are a lot of things to be thankful for, God and family should be at the top of our lists.

    That's Joanna's turkey, isn't it?!

    I recognize the atmosphere and the wine glasses.

    She has a good eye for interior decorating, too.

    I am thankful that God gave me the power, direction and authority to speak His word.

    To tell all from this day on, that it is His divine will for you to understand free will.

    To tell you that He has no desire to intervene, bother, wonder, contrive or otherwise meddle in our petty squabbles.

    To be thankful for the one greatest gift and challenge-

    Use it wisely.
