A tip of the cap to the folks at Hot Air.com for not only bringing Art Laffer’s chart to my attention–I did not have time to read the Wall Street Journal today–but also for the excellent write-up accompanying it. Work is a bear this Friday afternoon, so the hard work of the folks over there is wonderful respite for an overworked fellow.

    Hmmm… Is there a reason he started the graph in 1961?

    I wonder what the hockey stick would look like if the '30s and '40s were included?

    I happen to agree with the point that Federal spending and monetary policies are leading us into danger, but I am also trying to avoid falling prey to confirmation bias when I see charts like these.
