To You and Your Families — Happy Easter!

And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.

He is not here: for he is risen, as he said.

Come, see the place where the Lord lay.

Matthew 28:5-6

Thanks, Gail, and a happy Easter to you as well.

I always enjoy reading your comments on the blog. Keep up the crusade for a return to the Constitution and Judeo/Christian values. We, as a nation, are lost if we continue on the path that we’re on.

And on that subject, most serious Biblical scholars find no reference to anything that resembles a role for the U.S. in the final battle for Israel (or any other “end times” prophecy, for that matter). The generally accepted conclusion is that that is because the U.S. has become so impotent, either through internal chaos or the subjucation of some other power, that we are either unable or unwilling to come to Israel’s aide.

As we watch the battle for Israel unfold (i.e. a nuclear Iran who promises to “wipe the Jews off the face of the earth”, a Islamic-leaning U.S. administration, internal econmic chaos, and now, a strong conservative Israel Prime Minister who will take whatever steps are within Israel’s power to ensure their survival), an “impotent” U.S. is a distict possibility. When you look at who supports Iran (China, Russia, and most of the oil-producing countries) and our economic dependence on some of these powers, including Saudi Arabia and Dubai, it can’t help but make you wonder.

Fortunately, it’s Easter, so, as the old black preacher said, “It may be Friday, but Sunday’s a-coming”.

Thank you for all you do to try and bring the TRUTH before your readers and to offer a forum thru which those who disagree may state their views and we can all learn from each other. May your family and all your readers have a happy and blessed Easter.

To the Holier Than Thou anonymous poster who can see our faults but not their own….you make a serious mistake by calling us racists because we question and criticize the policies of this administration. Do you know the race of all the posters on this forum? No you don’t…many may be African-American, some may be Jewish, some may be biracial but we are all Americans. As long as we have freedom of speech, we have the right to stand up for what we believe is right. As conservatives, we certainly know what it feels like to be criticized so don’t think THIS president is the only one who has endured criticizism…of course, your lame excuse for any criticism is that it is racially motivated…isn’t that so convenient to throw that out instead of actually looking at the facts to see if the opposition is justified? Why do you visit a site if you find it so repulsive? If you have been here very often, you have heard discussions about many policies…Democrat and Republican…and about many officials….Democrat and Republican. I think that most of us on this site share a deep love for our country and we sense a very definite ill wind blowing so if we do not speak up now, it may be too late. Our freedoms are being threatened and we are frightened at what lies ahead for our children and grandchildren so excuse us if we get passionate and vocal in our opposition. We have been yelling “enough is enough” for a long time…during previous administrations. It just so happens that this one seems to be pulling out all the stops to propel this country into oblivion so if you think we are being too passionate, how can we be when so much is at stake? Just please find another excuse for disagreeing with us and get rid of that tiresome ‘racist’ accusation. May I tell you that many times that is not accurate at all….many who actually voted for this President have seen the danger.

I wish you a Happy Easter and I will pray for you and I hope you will pray for us that we all realize that our only hope is in Jesus Christ.

Thank God the Somali piracy stand off is over and the captain is safe. Looks like Obama got this one right and authorized the Navy to act. What a nice Easter gift for the captain and his family, his crew, as well as for our nation.

“U.S. Navy rescues captain held by pirates
Three of the Somali captors killed, one in custody after swift operation

MOMBASA, Kenya – An American ship captain was freed unharmed Sunday in a swift firefight that killed three of the four Somali pirates who had been holding him for days in a lifeboat off the coast of Africa, the ship’s owner said.

A senior U.S. intelligence official said a pirate who had been involved in negotiations to free Capt. Richard Phillips but who was not on the lifeboat was in custody.

Phillips, 53, of Underhill, Vermont, was safely transported to a Navy warship nearby. “…

Find me some racism. E-mail me with anything you construe as racist. Back up your ignorance.

    (But have a happy Easter.)

The “racism” charge is thrown out by ignorant persons who are intellectually incapable of discussing issues in a factual, objective, manner. It was even thrown out at me by liberal white members of my extended family simply because I opposed Obama based on his stand on abortion. It’s an argument that we conservatives can’t win because there is no way to refute the charge.

If, my “anonymous” friend who would accuse me of being a hypocrite, you really want to know what racism looks like, visit Obama’s church of twenty years, listen to the good Dr. Wright’s sermons (racist rants?) and read some of the literature on Black Liberation theology. Then come back and accuse me and my conservative friends on this blog of being racist. Otherwise, just retreat into YOUR racist hole.

Jeff Schreiber is the most even-handed and fair-minded blogger that I know. I expect that he receives many racist-tinged comments, but I also expect that, thanks to his editing, they never see the light of day. Keep up the good work, Jeff.

Happy Easter, Jeff, and to all the other contributers and commenters. I have to disagree with the “racist” issue. BO appears to be taking this country down the wrong path. I don’t care what color he is. In our last state election for govenor, I voted for the black candidate because of the way he wanted to run the state. I have not seen any racist articles or comments on this site. Keep up the good work, Jeff. Blessings to all of you.

I hope you ALL had a wonderful day this Easter Sunday, with your family close and everyone knowing that love is in the same room with each of you.

I am doubly grateful that the Pirate siituation is over and done with and that Phillips survived. His family is probably the most grateful group of people we have this particular Sunday Easter.

  21. Gail B says:

Thank You, God, for answering my prayer earlier today, and thank You, too, for giving Obama the good sense to tell the Seals to shoot to kill. That is exactly what my prayer was when I put the quote earlier, “And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, ‘All power is given unto me in heaven and on earth.’”
    Matthew 28:18

What an Easter this one has been! (AMEN!)

Don’t-cha be starting anything about Jeff because he won’t let me take up for him. He will speak up for himself if he thinks it necessary. And I sit here just frustrated beyond belief at times! The folks here know better, and you should, too.

    Happy Easter!

    Joshua 1:9
Be strong and of a good courage, be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed, for the Lord thy God is with the withersoever thou goest.

I love that verse. It always reminds me I am not alone. Tonight I remember that WE are not alone. God is with us. Our nation is a nation under God and founded on that rock. Though there are so many who are working so hard to re-write that amazing history, there are many more who will stand together and with strength remind one another who we are as Americans. We are so much more than a group of citizens. We are a nation with common threads that bind us together and strengthen our ties.

Easter is a time to be thankful for sacrifices made. I am thankful to those in uniform who are working hard to keep my family safe and free. Peace be with you.

    SUBJECT: missing credentials
    Greetings John Garrett Penn:
Please be advised that a proper request submitted under the Freedom of Information Act (“FOIA”) has resulted in a determination that the following requisite credentials for you cannot be found or exhibited by the legal custodians of those records:

    (1) Appointment Affidavit

As of October 1, 2004 A.D., a proper SUBPOENA IN A CIVIL CASE was overdue for your Oath Office and Appointment Affidavit.

For your convenience, we have attached pertinent documentation.

Formal demand is hereby made of you to produce all missing credentials as itemized above no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 2, 2007 A.D. Beyond that reasonable deadline, your silence will activate estoppel pursuant to Carmine v. Bowen, and it will also constitute fraud pursuant to U.S. v. Tweel.

Although it appears, at first glance, that James Robertson
dba U.S. District Judge in the District of Columbia,
has all four (4) requisite credentials:

… nevertheless, both his APPOINTMENT AFFIDAVITS and
OATH OF OFFICE were evidently witnessed and co-signed
by John Garrett Penn dba Chief Judge of the
U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia:

Please note that the APPOINTMENT AFFIDAVIT states clearly,
    at the bottom:

“The oath of office must be administered by a person
    specified in 5 U.S.C. 2903.”

    Here’s that statute:

Let’s see if John Garrett Penn has all four (4) requisite credentials:

Oops! John Garrett Penn turned up withOUT the
    APPOINTMENT AFFIDAVIT required by 5 U.S.C. 3331:

Accordingly, all his acts are void. See authorities on that point here:

Without taking the oath prescribed by law,
one cannot become a judge either de jure or de facto, and
such an individual is without authority to act and
his acts as such are void until he has taken the prescribed oath.

    [French v. State, 572 S.W.2d 934]

    [Brown v. State, 238 S.W.2d 787]

Conclusion: James Robertson does not have a valid
APPOINTMENT AFFIDAVIT, because the one produced
for him by the U.S. Department of Justice evidently
    violates 5 U.S.C. 2903, due to John Garrett Penn’s
