Haditha Marine Prepares to Sue Murtha Over Smear
(FROM: WorldNetDaily) Go get ‘im, Marine! Rep. John Murtha is just another example of a bloated congressional democrat placing the interests of his political party before the well-being of his country, then crying foul when someone attacks his patriotism.
Krauthammer: Critical Thinking on Energy
(FROM: TownHall) I mentioned a lot of this yesterday, but Charles Krauthammer is a professional and a genius, and therefore does it a lot better. Please read, and pass along to your friends.
Sierra Club Will Back Obama, Cites McCain’s Support for Offshore Drilling
(FROM: CNSNews) The more these environmental activist groups align with Barack Obama, the better things look for John McCain. Hopefully, Americans will wake up by November and realize that their wallets are a whole lot lighter from increased gas and food costs thanks to the democrats.
Mexican Cartel Hit List Targets Americans
(FROM: Newsmax) Let’s see. We’ve got tons of litter along the border, property damage, drugs coming in, violence permeating American lands, shooting wars with drug cartels and even the Mexican Army on American soil, U.S. Border Patrol Agents sitting needlessly in prison for doing their jobs, dozens of Americans kidnapped, a wide-open border for anyone to walk in with whatever they want to bring, and now this? Too bad neither of our presidential candidates view the border as an important issue…
Broke: GOP Third-Party Effort Nonexistent
(FROM: Politico) Anyone who thinks that Barack Obama became the first candidate since Watergate to refuse public financing–after promising to take it at least a half-dozen times over the past few months–because of fears of so-called 527 groups needs to have a reality check. He did it for one reason, and one reason only: money. Why should Obama stick with a $50 million cap when he could raise the same amount in two to three weeks over the Internet? The Chicago Tribune today said that $500 million–a HALF-BILLION DOLLARS!!–is a realistic figure for Obama. Even more disconcerting is the fact that, faced with Obama’s decision to bank on private donors, McCain took the public financing and imposed on himself the $50 million cap. Don’t expect the independent groups (which McCain abhors, even though he essentially created them) to pick up the difference, either. McCain’s quickness to denounce conservative supporters have all but alienated such groups, and people rightfully do not want to spend millions of dollars in tacit support of a candidate, only to be publicly chided in return. Gee whiz, I wonder who could have seen all of this coming?
Fred Thompson: Obama Should Stop Apologizing for America’s Attempts to Protect Itself
(FROM: Human Events) Remember, back on Monday, January 14, 2008, America’s Right endorsed Fred Thompson for President of the United States with its very first post. Ahhh, the good ole’ days…
